Great music producers are what makes our life good Music is the universal language as they say! Can you imagine a world without beautiful music murmuring into our ears charming feelings and strong images?

Most people simply can’t, I believe. What really makes a good music producer?

According to Jimmy Lovine, the famous American music producer and chairman of Interscope-Geffen-A&M, talent is the first element that makes someone a great music maker.

Of course, Akon, Will I am, Timberland, etc, they are all great! No one can deny they have a real talent in producing astonishing beats that moves your body in spite of yourself!

All these music producers do it all: they can write, they can produce nice melodies… They can literally do everything with drums and a few other instruments.

Along with a natural talent for music, these people have a learned ability to know intuitively, to somehow feel what can excite and can move popular culture.

Again according to Lovine, the real goal of great music producers is to move popular culture. That is what they are trying to do.

Of course, getting paid and earning money, all that stuff is one of their motivation. However, that comes only in second place for them. Their very first goal is make an impact on natural culture.

And when Jimmy Lovine can do that, he feels really rewarded. He personally thinks that when a great music producer understands that instinctively.

3. Rich Costey is the genius behind the exponential success of the very young English band Muse.

This American great music producer has put his signature to legendary songs such as Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations for Muse, or “You could have it so much better” for Franz Ferdinand.

His mix engineer skills also permitted him to create really cool sounds that you can hear in Arctic Monkey’s song named Humbug.
